Our directors

Lindsay Byers is the booking director of the troupe and  has been dancing since she was itty bitty! She loves the freedom of expression that dance allows.  Improv dancing is one of her favorite things in the world.  She has a degree in psychology and religious studies and currently works as a full-time nanny.

Sarah Pretz - Business Director

Sarah Pretz is the business director of the troupe and has been dancing since before she could walk.  She was trained in ballet, tap, and jazz and has done several other types of dancing.  She is currently a dance instructor for a local studio as well as a stay at home mom.

Leigh Chaves is the artistic director of the troupe.  Tap is her passion although she has a background in many different styles of dance.  She is currently teaching dance at several different studios as well as having a full time job working with Alzheimer's patients.

Richelle Pinkerton is the communications director of the troupe.  She started dancing at the age of three. She practiced ballet, tap, jazz, and pointe.  After a 'tiny' hiatus for college, career, and baby she returned to her favorite dance style.  Mom of an awesome boy, teacher of 5th graders, dancer of tap, and dabbling actress.

Our Members

Sarah Cantoya has been dancing since she could move.  She is a local dance instructor who loves a challenge and enjoys applying new choreography to her repertoire.  She has been classically trained in a studio setting as well as several summer intensives.

Rebecca Hamata grew up studying tap, jazz, and ballet.  She studied Dance and Exercise Science at UNL and owned a studio with 2 locations.  She received her Master's degree from UNL and is currently teaching middle school science.  When not teaching, dancing, or coaching, she can be found walking her beloved dog.

Jessica Johnson was born in Omaha but grew up dancing in Portland Oregon.  She has half a degree in Musical Theater with an emphasis in dance from UNC and a degree in Applied Linguistics from Portland State.  She also has a Master's in Speech Language Pathology from UNL.  She was primarily trained in classical ballet and modern dance.  When not dancing, she is spending time with her husband and two kids.

Beth Tweedt loves to dance and has experience with many styles of dance.

Carolyn Ashton has been dancing her whole life.  She was trained in tap, jazz, and ballet by the teacher she is now teaching for part-time.  She works full-time as a daycare provider.

Angie Infantino was born in Omaha and has had the privilege of dancing with The Moving Company for a decade.  She got her start professionally with The Heartland Hoedowners and had the opportunity to dance alongside Christina Aguilara.  She is currently finishing her coursework for her DAT.

Jenna Pearson has been dancing since she was a young child.  She is very passionate about it and loves to express herself through movement.  Tap has always been one of her favorite styles of dance, however she loves hip-hop and modern as well.  In her free time Jenna enjoys watching football and basketball as well as working out.  She has a degree in Dance with a minor in Psychology and works as a Measurement Analyst at TPG Telemanagement.
